      A prominent and widely known County figure, Colonel Wallce Charles Devereux, C.B.E., of Meads, Stoke Park, and Roundhill Farm, Little Kimble, died on Saturday while attending Ascot Races. He was 59. The funeral service took place at Stoke Poges Parish Church yesterday.
