      The funeral service of Mr. Ernest George Evered, of The Bungalow, Ellesborough, took place at the Kimble Union Free Church on Tuesday. Mr. Evered died in the Royal Bucks Hospital, following an operation, on the previous Friday. For 20 years he had been superintendent at the Kimble Free Church, and he was church treasurer and missionary secretary ... He married a Miss Harrison, the daughter of a former Mayor of Buckingham, who pre-deceased him comparatively recently. She was buried at Buckingham, and following Tuesday's service the coffin was conveyed to Buckingham for the interment.

      The funeral took place at Buckingham Cemetery, on Tuesday, of Mr. Ernest George Evered, aged 73, whose wife, a sister of Mrs. G. W. French, of Buckingham, predeceased him about seven months ago. He died in hospital in Aylesbury, following an operation. The late Mr. Evered, whose parents had lived at Hillesden and Gawcott and who had attended Buckingham Congregational Church and was a Sunday School teacher there several years ago, had been Sunday School Superintendent of the Congregational Church at Little Kimble, and a service there had previously been conducted by the Revs. H. C. Shaddick and Sturgess (Kimble) and the Rev. F. Hearn. The Rector of Kimble also attende and offered prayers.

      A very pretty wedding was witnessed at the Congregational Church, Buckingham, on Thursday by a large assemblage of friends. The contracting parties were Ernest George, eldest son of Mr. George Evered, of Hillesden Dairy Farm, and Emily Fanny, second daughter of Councillor George Harrison.
